RIP BAMBOOZLE?

Looks like Bamboozle could be dunzo. It has been confirmed that The Bamboozle Festival will not be returning to Asbury Park next year. It has also been confirmed that last year’s festival in Asbury failed to turn a profit even with its 90,000 attendees. Check out part of an article on the news below.
“Live Nation has informed us that at least for Bamboozle — because of the economics of doing it in Asbury Park and where the city is and where they are — it won’t work here,” City Manager Terence Reidy said Thursday.
“But this is not a breakup,” Reidy said. “This is Live Nation making a determination about this particular event, and that we will continue to work with Live Nation on other events in Asbury Park.”
Although the promoter fell short in ticket sales and did not make a profit last May, the return of the three-day Bamboozle to the city where it began a decade earlier was seen as highly successful in the collaboration between the promoter, Madison Marquette and city officials to bring 90,000 fans to a scenic festival site on wide beaches beside the sea.
